What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct quantitative and analytic models for risk management efforts
- Translate analytical findings into meaningful solutions for decision-making
- Present results to senior leadership and governance committees
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive problem resolution
- Mentor other team members in the peer review process
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, or related field
- 8 years of quantitative analysis experience in risk management
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field and 6 years of relevant work experience, or PhD with up to 4 years of experience
- Strong expertise in P&C Catastrophe Risk Management
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Catastrophe Modeling Experience
- Catastrophe Management Experience in turning analysis into recommendations and plans
- Knowledge of Reinsurance and non-traditional risk transfer
- Second line of defense (enterprise risk management) experience
- US military experience through military service or as a military spouse/domestic partner
