Job Description
- Req#: 280524
- Manage innovation projects aiming at developing new biotic (pro-; post; syn-) related concepts/products
- Drive scientific understanding of probiotic mode of action
- Use the knowledge on physiology of lactic acid bacteria and probiotics in developing new concepts/products
- Build interdisciplinary collaborations internally as well as externally with universities and companies
- Present results to internal stakeholders and at international conferences
- Coach and guide technicians and students
- Work in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
- PhD in Microbiology or Biotechnology, or any topic related to probiotics
- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience after PhD in the field of probiotic research is a must
- Experience in molecular biology and bacterial physiology is a plus
- Ability to work in interdisciplinary environment and to translate his/her knowledge and skills to other research fields and people of different background, experiences in managing scientific collaborations
- Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset
- Pro-active, open-minded team player with good communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in English (oral & written), French is a plus
