What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Evaluate claims by gathering and analyzing relevant facts to determine liability
- Assess policy verification and coverage determination for claims
- Participate in Risk Management Agency reviews for operational integrity
- Maintain confidentiality of claims information to protect the employer’s reputation
- Stay current with industry trends and enhance professional knowledge through educational opportunities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in crop insurance and claims adjusting
- Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be obtained within 180 days of hire
- Reliable personal transportation and ability to travel within the designated territory
- Physical ability to walk in agricultural fields, climb storage bins, and lift 25-50 lbs

- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications
