Job Description
- Req#: 5547
- Claim submission and remittance reconciliation for Medicare, Medicaid, commercial health insurance, and workman's compensation
- Review of payer correspondence (EOB'S) to determine next actions for resolution of claims
- Ability to identify with specific reason underpayments, denials, and cause of payment delay
- Continued monitoring and review of open accounts to identify adjustments, refunds, and changes in allowable amounts
- Submission of complete and detailed appeals, including all necessary follow up
- Review of aging reports, including monitoring delays in payments, past due statuses, and projected AR forecasts
- Maintain clear and cohesive notes/documentation related to all open claims
- Demonstrated understanding of medical terminology, CPT and ICD-10 coding and billing forms (HCFA)
- Works with management to identify, trend, and address root causes of issues in the A/R
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations
- 2+ years experience in Optical insurance billing/claims

Keplr Vision is currently going through tremendous growth and expanding its Revenue Department. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist. This is a remote role, so you must have a home office. This position centers on the expedient resolution of both insurance and patient claims. This includes, but is not limited to, revenue collection, review of zero payments, denials, and appeal filing. This position will be responsible for communicating with insurance carriers, providers, patients, and management to achieve resolution of issues and claims payments.
