      We have a fantastic opportunity for a Re-Engineering Manager to join Santander to support key transformation initiatives the bank is delivering. Re-engineering is at the heart of our customer led transformation sitting at the intersection of business strategy, experience design and business technology.

      We are looking for individuals with financial services, data and transformation background, who have experience of successfully transforming front to back operations through both a customer and data lens.

      You will be managing a portfolio of work and will both lead and support on projects throughout the project lifecycle (discovery, design, implementation, control, and benefit realisation). Managing and owning risks and escalations across the portfolio, along with ensuring all initiatives align to the bank’s strategic blueprint.

      The difference you’ll make:

      • Managing end to end process reviews to eradicate waste and improve lead times

      • Managing design and delivery of both tactical and strategic process improvements

      • Supporting and managing individuals within the team to ensure effective delivery and control

      • Collaborating, coaching and providing support to the Specialists within the Re-Engineering team

      • Providing support to the team on all elements of data identification, analysis and insights

      • Managing a portfolio of initiatives, tracking the benefits and costs associated to the project

      What you’ll bring:

      • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify root-cause issues and implement solutions

      • Experience managing projects in a complex environment with multiple senior stakeholders

      • A data mindset with experience of using data to drive E2E transformation, with a track record in data analysis, opportunity identification through data, KPIs / OKRs

      • Experience of managing people, driving their performance & supporting their development

      It would also be nice for you to have:

      • Application of structured and professional process reviews (e.g. Lean Six Sigma and Agile methodologies)

      • A professional Project or Program Management qualification (PRINCE2, Agile, PMI, PMP or similar)

      • Experience in leading, coordinating and prioritisation of work across a change team

      • Proven communication skills (e.g. providing updates to Senior Managers, running large scale workshops)

      This is a permanent position.

      This role will ideally be based from our Bradford office, however, can be based from one of our 5 key strategic office locations, these are: Milton Keynes, Belfast, Glasgow, Bradford or Sheffield office and our current expectation is at least 2 days in an office every week.

      As well as a competitive salary, you’ll enjoy a benefits package that you can tailor to your needs. For part-time / contract roles, your salary, bonus (where eligible) and certain benefits will be prorated to reflect your working hours / contract duration.

      • We put 8% of salary into your pension, even if you don’t contribute yourself. We’ll pay in up to 12.5% of salary, if you contribute as well, and you can take some of our contribution in cash if you prefer

      • Eligible for a discretionary performance-related annual bonus

      • 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to 31 days after 5yrs service, with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year
