What you'll do:

• Be part of a new greenfield project building the new My Sky App in React Native from the ground up
• Create high quality software using Agile methodologies
• Participate in the full software life cycle, including support and continuous integration
• Work with colleagues from other platforms such as Android, iOS, or Web to increase code reuse
• Drive continuous improvement within a self-regulating team
• Have plenty of opportunity to learn new things, as well as coaching and mentoring others

What you'll bring:

• Strong experience with development in one of the following: iOS, Android, React Native, React or TypeScript
• Experience with RESTful services integration
• Experience using Continuous Integration (CircleCI, App Center, Jenkins, etc)
• Experience using TypeScript
• Hands on experience of designing solutions for feature requirements in the Agile Scrum teams and translating these into high quality code
• Knowledge of a wide range of Agile methodologies and best practices (Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc)

Nice to haves:

• Setting up automation testing for React Native applications

Our spacious tech hub is under a mile away from Leeds train station, with free water taxis available from Granary Wharf. There’s also plenty of parking in the surrounding streets and at the nearby CitiPark.
