What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process a wide range of registration functions related to patient encounters and provider scheduling
- Handle 60-100 calls per day, ensuring effective communication with patients and providers
- Maintain department standard audit error rate and not ready time of 25% or less
- Schedule appointments accurately for the assigned queue while delivering high-quality customer service
- Adhere to the attendance policy and other departmental objectives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in a service-related field
- Ability to manage a high volume of calls while maintaining accuracy
- Strong customer service skills and effective communication abilities
- Commitment to maintaining departmental standards and objectives
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting or centralized scheduling environment
- Familiarity with revenue cycle processes and patient registration procedures
- Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse patient population
