What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a support person for reconsideration/dispute resolution professionals and physician reviewers
- Coordinate the delivery of re-determination files and dispute resolution documents
- Build and analyze reconsideration/dispute resolution case files to ensure compliance with CMS requirements
- Input relevant data regarding reconsideration/dispute resolution cases into required systems
- Respond to reconsideration/dispute review requests from appellants, patients, and providers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year of general office experience
- College education or technical training in administration, business, or related areas may substitute for experience
- Must have resided in the U.S. for a minimum of three (3) years out of the last five (5) years
- General knowledge of Medicare preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in a healthcare-related environment
