What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain and manage school records in an organized and compliant manner
- Coordinate with registrars to obtain missing documents and ensure completeness of student files
- Process external records requests within designated timeframes
- Conduct regular file reviews to ensure compliance with state Department of Education requirements
- Communicate sensitively with parents while maintaining confidentiality
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) Certificate
- One (1) year of clerical work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated organizational skills and knowledge of systematic filing procedures
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate’s degree
- Two (2) years of clerical experience
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using web-based database programs for educational information management
