  Duties
  
  
  • Assist with the inventory of property.
  • Instructs customers and monitors proper and safe usage of equipment, as needed.
  • Assists Facility Manager in the overall management and operations of the Fitness Center.
  
  
  Requirements
  
  
  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • Possesses and maintains the following certifications within 6 months of employment: CPR, First Aid, AED; MWR Orientation Course; Customer Service; Equipment (Safe Operation and Basic Maintenance Repair). Management will assist in obtaining these.
  
  
  Qualifications
  
  
  Qualifications:
  • Possesses directly related work experience that includes the demonstrated ability to operate multiple fitness facilities.
  • The related work experience must have been equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level.
  Best Qualifying Canidates will possess:
  • Fitness Facility Experience.
  • Experience facilitating fitness events/activities.
  • A Nationally Recognized Basic Fitness Trainer Certification.
  Applicants who meet all three Best Qualifying Criteria will be issued on a referral to management first, then applicants who meet two of the three will be issued and then applicants who meet one of the three will be issued. NOTE: Experience must be reflected on your resume and Fitness Trainer Certificate must be uploaded in order to be given credit.
