- Assist in the creation, planning, and facilitation of social/sports activities effectively and professionally.
- Manage a team of pool attendants, beach attendants, and kids club attendants.
- Interact with parents, ensuring their comfort level with the programs, the staff, and the safety and well-being of their children while in the resort-sponsored activities.
- Schedule and promote activities throughout the hotel to ensure guests know the options. Ensure a variety of programs are available to meet the needs of guests.
- Assist with scheduling and the development of training programs for recreation staff.
- Repair or replace equipment, always maintaining good condition. Perform minor maintenance on facilities and structures.
- Complete incident reports as needed and hand them in immediately.
- Oversee correct computer work; time punches, schedules, and billing
- Clean and organize bathrooms, office, and storage rooms.
- Pick up debris, rake sand, and organize lawn furniture to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Take proactive approaches when dealing with guest concerns. Follow property-specific second effort and recovery plan.
- Always extend professionalism and courtesy to guests.
- Provide a high level of anticipatory service and interest in guests
- Practice safe work habits to ensure safety.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
- Must be well organized, responsible, have great energy, be creative, and possess problem solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate required.
- Previous supervisory experience or equivalent training required.
- Proficient in using Excel
- Knowledge of PMS/accounting systems preferred.

- Work schedule varies and may include occasionally working on holidays, weekends.
- Exposure to variable temperature environments, including extreme heat or cold.
- Exposure to varying noise levels.
- Primarily outdoor work setting.
- Required to sit for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, bend, reach, use hands and fingers to operate keyboard.
