- Manage the full recruitment life cycle for a variety of mortgage-focused roles, primarily Loan Officers, but also including Underwriters, Processors, Closers, and other operations positions.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their talent needs, team dynamics, and business objectives, developing effective recruitment strategies for each role.
- Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to identify and attract passive and active candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, industry-specific job boards, professional networks, social media, and referrals.
- Conduct thorough initial screenings and interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, cultural fit, and alignment with company values.
- Present qualified candidates to hiring managers, providing detailed summaries and recommendations.
- Manage candidate expectations and provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to offer acceptance.
- Negotiate offers and close candidates, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Proactively build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for future openings.
- Stay informed of industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in mortgage recruiting.
- Participate in talent acquisition projects and initiatives as needed.
- 3+ years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience, with a significant portion of that time focused on recruiting for mortgage origination and/or operations roles.
- Proven success in sourcing, engaging, and closing high-quality candidates in a competitive market.
- Deep understanding of the mortgage industry, including knowledge of various loan products, origination processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and various sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter).
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proactive, self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and a commitment to results.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
