  We have an exciting opportunity for a Recruiter to join our growing Talent Acquisition team at Albany Med!
  
  The Recruiter role is essential in identifying and acquiring top talent to be a part of Albany Med. In this fast-paced dynamic role, you will source and recruit talent for the designated departments/divisions assigned.

  Total Base Pay Range

  • 60,000.00 - 75,000.00

  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and review candidates that apply through career website; review applications, resumes and credentials for suitable skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements
  • Determine applicant qualifications by conducting effective candidate phone/video screening and presenting to hiring manager for interview/shadow
  • Actively source passive candidates and utilize innovative sourcing strategies and techniques to identify and attract the right talent for the right position
  • Provide guidance to hiring managers throughout the recruiting and on-boarding process for new hires to ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Partner with hiring managers and develop effective recruitment strategies by understanding their needs and expectations
  • Monitor and track open position status and progress, suggesting alternative sourcing techniques when necessary.
  • Identify and participate in job fairs and school campus recruitment events
  • Approach all work activities with a customer service focus being mindful of HR as a service department in support of the organization
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

  
  Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1-3 years of recruitment and sourcing experience required OR 3-5 years of Human Resources experience required; healthcare recruiting experience is highly desired
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
  • Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task
  • Dynamic interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences and all levels of leadership
  • Strong technical capabilities including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other online search & candidate sourcing techniques
  • Excellent follow-through and a high sense of urgency
  • Must be driven and self-motivated with a positive and professional approach
