      Overview and Responsibilities:

The Emerging Talent teams’ mission is to serve as a dedicated and strategic pipeline for early career and future leadership talent - and we’re growing!

      We are looking for a hands-on Recruiter responsible for supporting the internship program and early career full-time recruitment for our CBS News & Stations teams. In this role, you will help to drive strategy for outreach and partnerships to position Paramount as a top destination for early career talent. You should demonstrate the drive, motivation, and passion to deliver exceptional client and candidate experiences while working alongside top recruitment professionals in a vibrant work environment.

      • Drive recruitment for CBS News & Stations internships, full-time entry level roles, and freelance News Associate Program
      • Serve as a talent advisor to build an inclusive outreach and recruitment process ensuring diverse candidate slates
      • Ongoing collaboration with key internal HR partners and business leaders to understand their talent objectives for emerging talent
      • Serve as the main point of contact for CBS News & Stations interns and curate development opportunities and events in support of the unique learning objectives for the division
      • Represent at internal/external campus and professional recruitment events
      • Champion consistency and standards in recruitment policies and practices

      Basic Qualifications:

      • 3 years of full-cycle recruitment experience, ideally within early career
      • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources or other related field i.e. Management, Psychology, Sociology, Communications

      Additional Qualifications:

      • Demonstrated knowledge of full lifecycle recruitment, including detailed pre-qualification screening, interviewing, and closing candidates across multiple fields
      • Shown ability to optimally partner and yield influence with hiring managers
      • Strong client focus with solid communications skills
      • Expertise in handling and prioritizing the intake of job requisitions to gain efficiencies and set expectations for deliverables with hiring managers
      • Experience partnering with target student groups, organizations and programs
      • Demonstrated flexibility and resourcefulness; ability to successfully work in fast pace environment
      • Prior experience at a broadcast network or station is a major plus
      • Familiarity with ATS technologies (e.g. SuccessFactors) and HR/recruiting products (e.g. video interview, assessments)

      ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

      Hiring Salary Range: $74,500.00 - 93,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
