Job Description

- Support the recruitment process though drafting job adverts, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and conducting background checks for selected candidates
- Processes staff employment documentation including offer / appointment letters, contracts and job descriptions based on established staff employment policies, procedures and WVU total reward policy.
- Assist the People and Culture Recruitment Manager with maintaining, monitoring and updating the recruitment tracking system and other databases as required.
- Produce and submit periodic recruitment up-dates to hiring managers to track the progress of recruitment assignments.
- Draft and submit recruitment reports to the People and Culture Recruitment Manager within the set standards and timeline.
- Ensure that feedback is shared with all candidates that have participated in interviews.
- Supporting the People and Culture Recruitment Manager in management of casual labour services
- In collaboration with Learning and Development Coordinator, ensure a smooth on-boarding and orientation of new staff.
- Develop, build and maintain relationships with hiring managers and People & Culture Business Partners in the respective hiring offices/ National Office in order to fill vacancies in a timely manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational / Industrial Psychology, or Social Sciences with Human Resource Management as a subject from a recognized institution.
- At least two years of working experience in HR practice gained from a reputable organization
- Experience of supporting high volume staff recruitment activities across a wide variety of roles and professional sectors.
- Experience of using electronic recruitment systems
- Good knowledge of labour laws.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Innovative with proven high levels of integrity.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Excellent analytical and report writing skills.
