      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Coordinate all aspects of the patient referral process in a community healthcare setting
      - Schedule appointments according to clinic guidelines and monitor appointment availability
      - Obtain referral authorization from insurance carriers and communicate outcomes to patients and providers
      - Resolve referral-related issues prior to patient appointments and maintain updated referral resources
      - Collaborate with care team members to ensure patient-centered care and uphold regulatory standards

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or equivalent
      - Minimum of three years’ experience in the healthcare field
      - At least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant, Medical Administrative Clerk, Patient Services Representative, or Dental Assistant
      - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks
      - Excellent verbal and written communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Familiarity with federal, state, and local insurance regulations
      - Experience in researching and resolving complex issues related to patient care
      - Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare-related software
