What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure all daily authorizations are obtained
- Coordinate and monitor work queues effectively
- Identify STATS and problematic authorizations prior to procedure/surgery dates to avoid denials
- Provide excellent customer service to staff, physicians, and patients
- Perform other duties as assigned
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
- Minimum of 4 years of insurance verification and precertification experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Exceptional listening, processing, and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Some college education preferred
- Strong customer service skills and focus
