What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify credit balances due to insurance overpayments, patient overpayments, and adjustments
- Investigate and resolve assigned credit balance accounts through work queue assignments
- Correct patient and insurance payments to accounts, including contractual adjustments and discounts
- Issue patient and insurance refunds as necessary
- Handle both internal and external phone calls regarding credit balances and refunds

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum three (3) years of experience working with credit balances from electronic/manual EOBs, lockbox, and patient payments
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a problem solver
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in patient accounting or equivalent roles
- Familiarity with insurance claims processes and EOBs
