Job Description
- Req#: 405
- Prospect for new business across geographical territories on a daily basis.
- Work directly with key refuse body builder procurement and sales teams to strengthen and grow the Mack and Volvo brand in the refuse industry.
- Execute proven sales strategies in order to gain market share.
- Identify, contact, and meet prospective customers to perform needs assessments, build relationships, conduct sales presentations, and vehicle demonstrations.
- Meet monthly sales activity goals and maintain records of activity using CRM system.
- Monitor and communicate on market conditions, relative to competitors' products and pricing.
- Complete sales orders and process paperwork in accordance with OEM and established company processes and policies.
- Oversee delivery process to ensure equipment is professionally delivered and meets all conditions of sale, and take prompt action to render service in case of any deficiencies.
- Be the subject matter expert on Mack, Volvo, Isuzu, and the vocational refuse market, including competitors and their products.
- Structure individualized sales proposals for each prospect/customer.
- Industry knowledge within the heavy duty truck and vocational market.
- 5 years of vocational truck sales experience preferred
- Knowledge of refuse body builder equipment.
- Ability to communicate industry knowledge and expertise to prospective customers.
- Ability to utilize CRM system and other programs in order to leverage sales success.
- Actively participate in industry association events.
- Work in a team environment supporting all company departments in a professional manner.
- Work with a high level of customer responsiveness.
- Highly organized, efficient, and self-motivated.
- Travel is required, up to 70% per month.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.

The Refuse Truck Sales person will be responsible for developing and implementing business actions to increase the refuse customer base and support key body builder relationship. This will be achieved by leveraging our premium product lines of Mack, Volvo, and Isuzu. Establish Nuss as a preferred vocational solutions provider of refuse products. Utilize marketing data to benchmark current market share and growth opportunities for positive performance. Build and manage relationships with strategic
accounts, OEM’s, and body builders to grow business partnerships.
