As a compliance officer, you will determine risk in the business and ensure we're accountable and deliberate in our actions.
Through your work to mitigate risk we can ensure we're putting the patient at the centre of what we do.
What will you be doing?
Much of the role will be centred around global policies and procedures and ensuring we as a business apply these in the UKINor region. The role will work across multiple business unitsl. With a wide variety of partners to work with and consider, the work will be varied, exciting but also rewarding!
The day to day will include providing analysis and interpretation of potential risk and supporting the business to mitigate potential risks. There are key compliance controls that require managing, right from internal processes through to our interactions with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and Third Parties to ensure we align with local laws, our internal governance and policies and Smith+Nephew code of conduct.
What does success look like?
Success in this role is simply based on your partnership and how you enable the business functions to carry out their duties while associated risk is mitigated. It will be providing an in depth knowledge of our policies and procedures around compliance and being the expert in the partnerships you maintain internally.
Education will play a large part of the role, ensuring that colleagues and partners understand the risk involved with their role in the organisation and play a part to mitigate risk. From time to time, actions will require investigating with the relevant following through with any relevant CAPA procedures to furthure mitigate risk.
