- Leading and directing hotel sales and marketing activities for an assigned group of properties within the Omni Hotels & Resorts portfolio.
- Creating and maintaining a highly energized selling culture.
- Developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans in collaboration with local stakeholders.
- Emphasizing improvement in properties' revenue performance and market share growth.
- Partnering with local hotel leadership to oversee, stimulate, guide, and support the sales, catering, and revenue management operation.
- Developing and executing sales and marketing strategies at assigned hotel properties.
- Serving as the first point of contact between the Corporate Office and each property's Sales & Marketing team.
- Ensuring maximum revenue improvement plans are in place at assigned properties.
- Implementing national brand standards at assigned properties.
- Monitoring revenue performance and recommending adjustments to property plans.
- Strategically deploying sales teams at each property.
- Analyzing business trends, identifying revenue opportunities, and developing strategic plans.
- Setting goals and aligning incentives with business objectives.
- Attracting and retaining high-performing staff members through effective selection, training, and development.
- Developing and executing Coaching Plans and Improvement Plans when needed.
- Collaborating with Corporate Marketing on strategic promotional and advertising plans.
- Ensuring marketing communications efforts align with brand standards, strategy, and image.
- Partnering with local stakeholders to develop and administer the Sales and Marketing Operating Budget.
- Ensuring effective pricing strategies are in place at assigned properties.
- Conducting regular Sales and Marketing Reviews and creating action plans for improvement.
- Collaborating with Area Directors of Sales within the Region on strategy, deployment, recruitment, and performance.
- Conducting interviews for all sales candidates at assigned properties.
- Expectation of 40% travel in this role.

- Previous Area responsibilities preferred.
- Senior sales and marketing leadership positions in multiple full-service products, with Convention and Resort experience preferred.
- Ten+ years of sales managerial experience in a corporate or hotel environment.
- Demonstrated strategic vision and innovative thinking.
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
- Motivational leadership and commitment to the company's culture and goals.
- Team management and influencing skills.
- Financial analysis and project management skills.
- Marketing planning and creative abilities.
- Strong understanding of Revenue Management principles and technology.
- College Degree (BS/BA) in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or Business Administration preferred.
- Recognition as a leader in the hospitality/travel industry.
