- Degree in Finance / Accounting /business administration or similar with min. 8 years of related experience required; financial audit experience is preferable. Certified Accountant Qualification (CPA). Excellent accounting and financial analytical skills with USGAAP accounting knowledge.
- Proven track record for driving, supporting and building relationships with commercial functions being a business acumen with strong analytical and problem-solving techniques. Advanced experience in financial analysis and reporting.
- Proficient user of MS Excel, and in working on business intelligence software, Oracle, OBI or an equivalent business intelligence reporting; knowledge in Oracle is a plus
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills. Turkish Language.
- People management, develop, engage and retain finance associates in the team. Positive mindset, multi-tasking, fast learner and good team player and be able to effectively communicate with different internal customers to ensure positive outcome.
- Strong business acumen with strong analytical and problem-solving techniques.

The Turkey and South East Europe Finance Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics has the responsibility to provide financial analytical and decision support to finance and commercial operations regional management team. Additional has the responsibility for all finance, accounting, financial planning and compliance activities of BC Turkey and is in charge of managing the local finance team.
This position is part of the EEMEA Commercial Operations located in Istanbul and will be working under hybrid model (both remote and office environment). At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be the primary finance partner for the commercial operations management team and be responsible for leading and developing a “best in class” team of finance professionals that drives profitable growth. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Regional FP&A responsibility - Turkey and South East Europe
To help manage the Regional monthly FP&A process which includes consolidation of sub-regional financials, planning activities for month end/forecast/budget, working capital and any other ad-hoc requests. To provide business/FP&A support to Regional Commercial Leaders. Help the countries in the region in FP&A process, standardization of reporting, KPIs, etc.
Turkey Finance Manager responsibility
To maintain the integrity of the accounting systems in compliance with US GAAP / DHR, SOX and statutory accounting principles and policies. Tax declarations and filings. Main contact with external and internal auditors. To support Commercial Country leader and regional finance director in order to ensure accuracy and predictability of results, to timely report actual results and forecasts, maintaining bank relationship and monitoring cash flow requirements with customers. To work independently, drive positive change, including evaluating and streamlining of existing processes and controls to deliver accurate and timely results ensuring proper use of company resources and assets. Leadership & Management. Manage, engage and develop the local finance team in Turkey. Assist in the continuous improvement, development, modification and implementation of financial tools, processes and systems. Leverage and use DBS tools. Be a member of the local Turkey management team.
