      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide financial functions related to the Climate Portfolio, including producing national-level delivery reports and processing fund transfers
      - Support the preparation and implementation of the regional work plan and procurement plans for the Africa team
      - Facilitate travel coordination and logistical organization for workshops, conferences, and retreats
      - Monitor delivery of activities according to budget and provide status updates to team leads
      - Assist with administrative tasks, including payment requests and maintaining organized files for African countries

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Advanced university degree (master's degree or equivalent) in Administration, Business Administration, Project Management, International Development, or a related field; or a bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience
      - Minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience in project operations/financial management at a regional or international level (if holding a bachelor's degree)
      - Demonstrated experience in building and reading budgets
      - Proficiency in office software packages, including Word, Excel, Sharedrive, Teams, and Google Drive
      - Fluency in English is required; knowledge of another UN language is an asset

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in monitoring and analysis of project budgets and expenditures at the global level
      - Previous experience coordinating donor reporting and supporting oversight of donor-driven projects
      - At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in project/program coordination and administration
      - Previous exposure to Climate Change Policy or Finance
      - Experience using finance/project management, procurement, and travel modules of Quantum or similar ERP systems
