      Summary/Objective
      We are seeking an experienced, results-driven sales professional to join our dynamic team! The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) should be highly motivated, well-organized, and a self-starter. The RSM will implement and manage a sales strategy, based on sales goals for the organization, that will contribute to achieve the company’s business objectives. The RSM will report to their manager on a regular basis to ensure that milestones are met, and work is progressing as pre-plan. Position will implement and manage the state sales strategy, by brand and by area, that will contribute to the achievement of the sales objectives. This individual must manage the company established distributors and develop relationships with chains, Platinum restaurateurs and retailers in the area. The Regional Manager will be responsible for the states of Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and Montana.

      • Defining and executing territory sales plans
      • Develop relationship with distributor management and sales force
      • Strong knowledge of the Off Premise Chain business
      • Knowledge of the territory and Key accounts (ON-OFF Premise)
      • Work in the field to visit key accounts ON and OFF premise and chains
      • Develop and implement pricing, programming and sales incentives within the company budgets
      • Work effectively with distributor managers and reps and key accounts to achieve company goals
      • Conduct sales meeting and training seminars for distributor salespeople
      • Conduct ON premise staff trainings and in-store tasting at retails stores as well as educational seminars to customers and consumers, and establish and maintain solid relationships with key accounts
      • Ability to upsell and sell additional products/services into existing clients
      • Liaison activities between the Company and the local chain accounts, retailers, restaurants
      • Provide weekly/monthly updates to management
      • Attending and participating in sales meetings, product seminars and trade shows
      • Maintain and compile data collected during strategic planning sessions
      • Manage, review and approve chargeback and incentive expenses monthly or quarterly basis
      • Exceptional communication skills – very articulate with strong public speaking ability/experience and excellent written skills
      • Excellent organizational/project management skills
      • Developing positive relationships with other employees in Marketing, Administration, Logistics, Finance and other departments
      • Strong abilities within Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), iDig is a plus
      • Prepare written presentations, reports and price quotations
      • Assisting in contract negotiations

      Required Education and Experience

      • BA/BS degree
      • 7+ years of solid experience in wine industry
      • Distributor sales management with over 5 years’ experience is a must
      • Advanced training in sales skills
      • Knowledge of the territory and Key Accounts (ON-OFF Premise)
      • Understanding and ability to improve and to grow sales in all areas of the business
      • Excellent communication and presentation skills – very articulate with strong public speaking ability/experience. Must have the ability to interact with all levels of management and personnel
      • Strong strategic analysis skills
      • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word, as well as knowledge of iDig


      Work Environment

      This job operates from Employee’s home in a professional office environment as their base, with outside sales as predominant work environment. The employee is required to live within their territory.

      • Ability to lift 40 lbs. as required

      Travel

      This position has frequent travel requirements outside the local area and overnight. Occasionally travel is international. Able to travel and work during some weekends or evenings as necessary.
