What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive the broker strategy, ensuring insurance brokers have the information and tools to sell effectively
- Build and manage broker and General Agent (GA) relationships in the assigned geographic market
- Identify distribution partners to invest in and build relationships over time
- Represent the employer in the market at local broker and community events
- Provide local competitive intelligence and market research
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 4+ years of health insurance experience with an insurance carrier or in a role driving sales with brokers
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience working with brokers and their clients
- Experience using market data to make decisions and process improvements
- Health insurance sales experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience establishing relationships with self-generating leads
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
