What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Execute the sales strategy to maximize market share and profitability for the employer's portfolio of products
- Manage and direct the activities of Area Sales Manager(s) and independent manufacturers' representatives in the region
- Develop promotional plans tailored to the specific needs of the territory
- Ensure superior customer satisfaction by addressing the needs of direct customers and end users
- Gather construction data and project leads, analyzing their viability and positioning the employer with key decision-makers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- At least 3-5 years of experience managing a sales team in the wholesale construction materials industry
- Broad knowledge of distribution strategies and tactical implementation
- Technical or hands-on background in the HVAC field is highly desirable
- Deep understanding of US local building codes and future trends
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with independent manufacturing representatives in the wholesale construction materials industry
- Competent in utilizing automation tools and technology to increase efficiency
- Ability to communicate best practices to contractors and installers effectively
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus
