Duties of the Regional Sales and Business Development Leader include :
• Prospect and solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication.
• Handle the interaction, selling and closing of group sales leads generated from the hotels. Develop new business for the hotel portfolio through lead generation, cold calling and other business development measures
• Manage all aspects of the sales and marketing for assigned portfolio. Keen focus on business development for creating new incremental business for maximum hotel sales generation and optimal revenue growth
• Promptly prepares correspondence to customers, internal booking reports and file maintenance/database entry.
• Creatively manages all aspects of the sales and marketing efforts for hotels. Provide the strategic vision for maximum hotels sales generation and optimal revenue growth.
• Achievement of stringent targets, the job holder will be required to adopt a professional and knowledgeable approach to each new business call.
• Fosters a positive and sales focused team attitude to all departments and maintains open communications with all team members and brand representatives for the best overall performance of the hotels.

• Participates in daily business review meetings, pre-convention meetings, training and other sales-related meetings as required.
• Attend trade shows, community events and industry meetings.
• Forge relationships and build rapport. Cultivate, enhance and leverage external and internal relationships to elevate hotel and market share awareness and drive business.
• Develops/maintain knowledge of market trends, competition and customers.
Requirements of the Role:
• Experience in working with senior management to align sales strategies and solutions across multiple markets
• Must have experience of working in a corporate/business focused environment
• Excellent negotiation skills, proven track record of successfully pitching for new business
• Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads at both hotel level and organizational level
• Must have experience of successfully developing, implementing and benefitting from organizational sales strategies
• Proven track record of achieving sales goals.
