      What You'll Do

      We’re seeking a high-performing Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to lead and coach a team of field-based professionals across the Upper Midwest. This team of Field Sales Representatives is responsible for training retail sales associates with the goal of driving sales and increasing market share across national and regional accounts.

      Location: Must be based in the Chicago, Minneapolis or Milwaukee area

      How You'll Do It

      • Lead, manage, and develop a team of field sales representatives to exceed territory sales and performance goals, delivering exceptional retail partner experience.
      • Implement strategic sales and training programs, including coaching on selling techniques, product knowledge, and retailer engagement.
      • Collaborate cross-functionally with account managers, marketing, and operations teams to support launches, promotions, and retailer programs.
      • Cultivate strong relationships with retail leadership, communicate product value, profitability, and ensure our products are positioned and merchandised effectively.
      • Analyze sales trends and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and adjust plans as needed.
      • Manage territory operations, including team resources, scheduling, call planning, and reporting. Regularly conduct field visits with field sales representatives.
      • Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of team members.
      • Manage a travel and expense budget and hold the team accountable to stay on budget.
      • Ability to independently plan and prioritize travel, while also coaching and guiding the field sale team how to effectively plan and prioritize retail partner visits.

      What You'll Bring

      • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
      • 7+ years’ experience in sales leadership, preferably in the mattress industry.
      • Demonstrated success managing remote sales teams and developing sales talent.
      • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
      • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
      • Willingness to travel up to 75%
      • Strong presentation skills in front of large audiences
      • Frequent holiday and weekend hours.

      The hiring salary range for this position applies to where legally required, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
