What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a trusted regional leader and agent of systems change in early childhood development and health issues
- Coordinate regional efforts and support statewide systems change and community engagement goals
- Engage communities through presentations, workshops, and communication strategies to promote early childhood initiatives
- Develop and maintain relationships with municipal and county officials to align early childhood system goals with local priorities
- Represent the organization in regional coalitions and public forums, sharing updates on policy and funding initiatives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in early education, social work, education, health, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Extensive knowledge of early childhood development and health issues
- Management or leadership experience in public, private, or non-profit organizations
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including community leaders and local governments
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and analytical skills, with the ability to meet competing deadlines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in generating financial support and developing cross-sector partnerships
- Competence in working effectively with a volunteer governing board and community volunteers
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office software and Google Workspace
- Experience in public speaking and engaging diverse audiences
