What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform telephone triage with a diverse patient population
- Assess needed care and collaborate with patients to provide clinical solutions
- Provide comprehensive nursing assessments in a non-traditional nursing environment
- Actively participate in team conferences to assess patient education needs
- Notify leadership of operational concerns and document patient encounters
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the applicable state required
- Minimum of 5 years of RN experience
- Experience in telephone triage, pediatrics, and ED triage is desired
- BLS certification required per policy guidelines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- BSN preferred
- Experience working remotely in a healthcare capacity
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to concentrate in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a call center or similar setting
