- Must have current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and a current APC, with the right to work in New Zealand.
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals.
- Excellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- The ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focused.
- New Zealand nursing experience would also be a definite advantage.
- Occupational Health Assessment
- Police Vetting / Ministry of Justice safety checks
- Serious misconduct checks (previous Public Service departments and statutory Crown entities only)

Salary Band - $31.91 – $45.70 per hour (plus 8% gross taxable earnings in lieu of annual leave)

Our team at Dunedin Hospital has a pool of Registered Nurses who work across all wards in the hospital, and we are accepting applications from experienced and motivated Registered Nurses wishing to join us on a casual and flexible ‘as and when required’ basis.

We are interested in hearing from enthusiastic Registered Nurses who would be able to adapt to any ward situation. This really is the role which will offer variety, pace and flexibility. All shifts are 24/7 - incl. night shifts. We require our casual staff to be available all year round so if you have full year flexibility and would enjoy being a casual, this may be the role for you!

Utu whānui | Salary range
This role belongs to the NZNO Nursing & Midwifery Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($31.91) and Step 7 ($45.70) per hour (plus 8% gross taxable earnings in lieu of annual leave).
