      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Improve the overall quality and completeness of clinical documentation through admission and continued stay reviews
      - Facilitate modifications to clinical documentation ensuring appropriate reimbursement for services rendered
      - Conduct follow-up reviews and work with physicians to ensure accurate documentation
      - Educate team members on clinical documentation opportunities and compliance
      - Collaborate with coding staff to ensure accurate assignment of DRGs

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Current RN Licensure in the State of Georgia
      - Associate's Degree in Nursing
      - Minimum of five (5) years of experience in professional nursing
      - Working knowledge of DRG coding optimization strategies and clinical documentation requirements
      - Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - CCDS or CDIP certification
      - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or additional education in Finance and Healthcare regulations
      - Experience in Healthcare Utilization and Revenue Management
      - Familiarity with ICD10 coding conventions and coding software (preferably 3M 360 Encompass)
