StaffJob Description
Provides support to one or more areas of the Registrar’s Office including course exceptions, graduation conferral, university commencement, student records, and customer service initiatives. Position is located in Fort Worth, Texas with work hours: Mon-Fri; 8:00 AM-5:00 PM or as work requirements indicate.
Responsibilities:
55% Auditing, Graduation, and Curriculum
Assist Auditing and Graduation staff with course exceptions, degree plans, and graduation audits. Assist faculty and advisors with course exceptions or degree plan workflow-related questions. In collaboration with the Graduation Coordinator, answer questions and inquiries related to the final degree audit review and pending graduation.
30% Registrar Services
Assist students, staff, and faculty with Registrar and Enrollment-related questions, accepts and/or processes various Registrar’s Office forms following Registrar’s Office protocols and procedures, process and prepare official transcripts for students, serve as a point of contact for electronic transmission of official documents to the main campus for review, approvals, verification, processing, and monitors and removes holds as appropriate
10% Work with the team to create and facilitate updated training presentations over Registrar policies and procedures specific to the assigned areas mentioned.
5% Other job duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
-Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-One year related experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications. Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Excellent interpersonal and communication, planning, and organizational skills. Must be able to work independently. Ability to provide supervision to student worker(s).
Preferred Requirements:
Familiarity with Banner, Degree Works, and Imaging Systems is preferred.
One year of progressively responsible experience working with business information systems, records, and customer service.
Salary
Commensurate with experience
Salary Range
The target base annual salary range is $41,000 to $50,761 and may be negotiable based on funding availability and candidate experience/skillset in relation to the minimum requirements of this position.
