      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Develop, implement, and evaluate state-wide mental health and state hospital policies
      - Collaborate with hospital and program leadership, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
      - Ensure compliance with the Administrative Procedure Act (APA) in promulgating state regulations
      - Conduct analysis and problem-solving related to mental health regulations and policies
      - Prepare proposals for review and approval by multiple stakeholders

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Must have eligibility for the Associate Governmental Program Analyst or Staff Services Analyst classification
      - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
      - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including document review and editing
      - Ability to handle confidential and sensitive issues while maintaining positive working relationships
      - Knowledge of the legislative process and policy issues related to mental health

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with project management or change management
      - Proficiency in Adobe, Microsoft Office Suite, and cloud-based technologies
      - Familiarity with administrative procedures and regulations
      - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
      - Experience in collaborative projects with positive outcomes
