      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Research, write, and disseminate child welfare policy information regarding licensing and related practices
      - Review revocation and licensing decisions involving child protective services and licensed foster families
      - Assist in drafting administrative codes and written responses to media requests
      - Collaborate with team members for the implementation of initiatives requiring policy or administrative code changes
      - Develop forms and materials related to child welfare programs

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Documented child welfare experience with knowledge of related programs, policies, laws, and rules
      - Proven ability to research, analyze, and interpret federal and state laws
      - Documented experience in technical writing for formal documents and audience-specific materials
      - Proven experience in implementing and monitoring child welfare-related policies or procedures
      - Master’s degree in a relevant discipline with three years of related experience, or Bachelor’s degree with five years of related experience

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in collaborating with government agencies or organizations in child welfare
      - Familiarity with state and federal child welfare regulations and compliance standards
      - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
      - Previous involvement in community outreach or advocacy related to child welfare
      - Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
