      Shared Services Operations

      Shared Services Operations is part of The Chief Operating Office. The COO is responsible for delivering operational processes and redesigning business workflows by efficiently utilizing resources to exceed customer and regulatory requirements. Our mission is to integrate, transform, and strengthen the enterprise through automation, risk mitigation, effective controls, and state-of-the-art technological solutions to operate at an optimal level.

      Operations’ goal is to build a more unified, integrated approach to Wells Fargo's business operations functions focused on enhancing our operational excellence, meeting our regulatory remediation efforts, and better serving customers.

      Shared Services Operations (SSO) delivers core operational functions to our customers that are common across Wells Fargo, along with transformation capabilities to our employees, utilizing a continuous improvement approach to achieve stronger controls, improved client experiences, and sustained efficiencies. Shared Services Operations includes: Business & Real Estate Services, Financial Crimes & Regulatory Operations, India & Philippines SSO, Operational Excellence, Payments Operations, Payments Transformation, Quality Assurance and Strategy & Transformation.

      The Role

      The Regulatory Operations & Transformation Leader will be responsible for managing the Operations teams supporting regulatory requirements such as Currency Transaction Reporting, Servicemember Civil Relief Act, Global Privacy Utility, FDIC certification and Enterprise Limits Monitoring.

      This leader will lead at large global operations team that facilitate the Bank’s requirements to meet regulatory requirements in a timely fashion with a high level of quality. Work with Business, Risk and Technology stakeholders to identify a comprehensive Regulatory Operations model and act as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert who will face off to Risk, Compliance and Audit (internal) and external regulators to provide solutions to identified issues and regular status updates. Identify, syndicate, design and develop smart, sustainable and scalable solutions to enable an automated environment reducing risk and increasing efficiencies.

      Responsibilities include:

      • Shape a high performing team across Operations and Transformation and instill the regular routines required to maintain transparency, meet regulatory deliverables and instill controls to mitigate risk along the way.
      • Instill and drive a culture of trust, accountability and transparency to allow the Bank to meet our regulatory framework in a safe and sound manner – requires daily interaction across a global team to define expectations, coach managers to be culture carriers, instill an environment of trust.
      • Optimize and manage Regulatory Operations which is currently comprised of the following teams: Currency Transaction Reporting, FDIC certification, Global Privacy, SCRA/ADA/Reg O and other functions. Create a control environment that mitigates the risks introduced by the current environment while also overseeing the closure of multiple action plans addressing gaps.
      • Create and run a Transformation team tasked with identification of current state environment (including the mapping of a varied technology architecture), design and deliver the future state environment which includes definition of target state set of tools as well as changes required in business platforms to adequately meet requirements.
      • Providing progress and reporting of core operational processes and transformation roadmap including the escalation and resolution of potential roadblocks; includes meetings with regulators.

      Required Qualifications:

      • 8+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
      • 4+ years of management experience.

      Desired Qualifications:

      • Proven operations leadership: leading large-scale teams in a highly complex regulatory environment.
      • Financial Services experience including understanding of core fundamentals of how large-scale financial institutions operate including an appreciation of varying customer types, products and operating models, technology architecture and data landscape.
      • Transformation experience: digital analytics, understanding of technology architecture, ability to design future-proof solutions and experience delivering against multi-year roadmaps.
      • Leadership: strong talent management skills with experience building high-performance teams, re-shaping teams and placing high value on diverse skill sets.
      • Success building high-performing teams.
      • Data analytics & insights experience.
      • Risk & Control mindset.
      • Vendor engagement experience.
      • Experience with Multi-year execution plans designed to compliment and not disrupt business.
      • Experience with collaboration of leaders across all LOBs, Technology and FCRM.

      Pay Range

      Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

      $173,300.00 - $359,900.00
