Job Description

- Keep up with relevant developments related to product legislation in close collaboration with our internal departments, exchanges knowledge with various stakeholders and advises them on product compliance topics;
- Prepare, provide and legalise the necessary documents and certificates for (international) notifications;
- Register our products in association with international Rituals sales organisation and third parties;
- Check our product artworks on legal safety information and other labelling elements, ensuring that our product packaging meets all legal applicable labelling requirements before they enter the market;
- Actively manage the internal Quality and Regulatory (Q&R) databases, such as Box, product database / portal (STEP), etc.;
- Collect, review and file of documentation regarding Regulatory matters, including Product Information Files, Safety Data Sheets, GMP certifications etc.
- You have a bachelor or master degree and at least 4 years of relevant knowledge, experience and training, i.e. in Regulatory or QA/QC, preferably in cosmetics/FMCG field;
- A good understanding of EU and international legislation that applies to our assortment (EU Cosmetics Regulation, CLP, REACH, a.o.);
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, a good command of the English language is essential and other languages are a bonus;
- You have excellent project management and planning skills, strong problem-solving skills with ability to analyse root cause;
- You can manage multiple projects and stakeholders at one-time;
- You are a self starter, have a positive drive, are solution-oriented with an eye for detail. Above all you are a team player and are up for a challenge (or two)!

Purpose of the job
The Regulatory department is responsible for ensuring continuous global regulatory compliance of all Rituals products in existing and new markets by managing correct execution per region worldwide. The department keeps track of the ever-changing legislation in all the countries in which Rituals distributes and sells its products, by advising on legal- and compliancy restraints and requirements. Next to that we make sure all products are registered, notified, or listed before distributing to- and selling them on the different markets.

YOUR ROLE
We are growing rapidly around the around the world, hence we are expanding our team. As our new Regulatory Specialist, you lead on the registration and notification process of our brand and products in existing and new markets worldwide. This is key as we cannot sell without the right registration and documentation.
The role is the perfect mix of compliance, project management and (international) stakeholder management. You’ll be part of a diverse team, where you get the freedom to independently manage your portfolio whilst having a team of professionals around you to partner and have fun with.
Other responsibilities will be to:You will report to the Head of Regulatory Affairs and will be part of the Sourcing, Quality and Regulatory department.
