      This position is based on-site in the Greater Seattle Area.

      The Regulatory Specialist is responsible for regulatory participation in the delivery of excellent patient care first and foremost, assisting in regulating compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, assisting with accreditation management, maintaining appropriate licensure/permits/reports for Sono Bello clinics and fostering a spirit of teamwork.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Embodies the Sono Bello Mission Statement and Core Values by ensuring our patients’ safety and experience are the top priority, working with integrity, continually evolving and learning, and collaborating as a team to create a challenging and rewarding culture.
      • Maintains a current knowledge base of existing and emerging regulations, standards, or guidance documents applicable to Sono Bello practices.
      • Establishes and maintains a secure knowledge and understanding of ALL Sono Bello policies, procedures and associated forms.
      • Coordinates efforts associated with the preparation of regulatory documents or submissions for new clinics and existing clinics. Maintains integrity of governance manuals.
      • Review clinical protocols to ensure collection of data needed for regulatory submissions.
      • Compiles and maintains regulatory documentation databases or systems such as governance manual documentation coordination.
      • Recommend changes to company policies and/or forms in response to changes in regulations or standards.
      • Applies for original licenses/permits/reports for new clinics.
      • Updates and renews licenses/permits/reports as necessary.
      • Reminds and monitors PM tasks related to regulatory needs – fire inspections/paperwork in governance manual for AAAHC accreditation surveys.
      • Works with credentialing/database to make sure regulatory needs for physicians are covered – state dispensing licenses.
      • Assists with accreditation applications and associated items – responds to needs of the Accreditation Manager
      • Comprehends Sono Bello’s electronic tracking tools and databases, including, but not limited to: Sono Bello intranet on SharePoint at mysonobello.com, Zenoti, and MCN manuals portal (policies, procedures and associated forms). A Compliance Specialist must be well-informed on updated content and materials therein.
      • Assuming responsibility for the successful completion of initial and annual training requirements
      • Attends and participates in scheduled corporate meetings as required.
      • Collaborates with national clinics and National Support Center to improve upon regulatory compliance measures and identifies opportunities to streamline existing policy.

      EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

      • Bachelor’s degree preferred – legal studies or related area.
      • Three (3) years of regulatory/paralegal experience, preferably in the healthcare spectrum.
      • Combination of knowledge and experience will be considered, in lieu of above preference.

        WORK ENVIORNMENT:

        Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm Onsite 3-4 days in office required.

        COMPENSATION:

        At Sono Bello, we believe that our team members are the keys to our success. The compensation range for this role is $55,000 - $70,000.
