Job summary
Rehabilitation Assistant
(Band 2 progressing to Band 3 on completion of a L3 qualification and/or required competencies)
Permanent 37.5hours per week or part time considered

Are you keen to be part of a team providing rehabilitation to patients?
If you answer yes to these questions, we are recruiting to either a full or part time Rehabilitation Assistant role within our busy Integrated Therapies department.
You will be required to work alongside and support qualified Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, providing rehabilitation to in-patients on our busy wards. In addition, there will be a requirement to undertake some general duties to promote the smooth running of our department. Good communication skills and a desire to work with people are essential.
Main duties of the job
You must be able to work in a team, show a caring and empathetic attitude to our patients whilst promoting independence in their rehabilitation. You will demonstrate good communication skills and be educated to a GCSE level or equivalent.
We are a friendly and forward-thinking integrated therapy service with a well-developed appraisal system and structured support from senior staff. Training and development are supported to achieve L3 qualification and specific competencies.
The posts available have core hours from Monday to Friday, but include weekend duties as well. There is some flexibility in start and finish times. Part time hours will be considered.
