What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage all billing and collection activities for assigned programs, ensuring timely and accurate billing
- Confirm census, financial eligibility data, and authorizations for billing purposes
- Respond to claim denials and manage third-party denials and appeals
- Collaborate with management in strategic planning for effective billing and reimbursement
- Maintain compliance with regulations and standards related to billing processes

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Five (5) years of prior medical billing experience or two (2) years of college and one (1) year of healthcare experience
- Extensive knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal/Medicaid, and commercial insurances
- High level of PC literacy, especially in Excel and Word
- Ability to operate independently and utilize judgment based on extensive reimbursement experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age and pass necessary background checks

- Bachelor's or AA degree
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Experience with sophisticated automated billing systems
- Ability to understand complex reimbursement structures and governmental regulations
