What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct ongoing assessments to meet the needs of patients served
- Communicate progress between supervisors, direct care staff, family members, and other stakeholders
- Provide a monthly schedule of appointments, home visits, and observations to monitor work advancement
- Ensure the effective implementation of the Behavior Intervention Plan
- Organize training for staff and team members on the Behavior Intervention Plan and documentation processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behaviorally challenged populations
- Experience in implementing Applied Behavior Analysis programming
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and bending
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Strong educational emphasis on learning and developmental psychology
- Experience with behavioral intervention strategies
- Coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis documented on resume or transcript
- Knowledge of state-specific requirements for behavior analysts
