Job Description

- Performs day-to-day administrative services/tasks needed for billeting in a remote setting.
- Assigns personnel billeting accommodations for various camps.
- Efficiently and accurately manages travel arrangements for the camps at Red Dog Mine.
- Standard office duties such as producing general office written and/or electronic correspondence, handle incoming phone calls, operate office equipment, etc.
- Prepares routine billeting documentation and compile various reports in order to maintain a billeting office's workflow.
- Demonstrates exceptional adeptness with complex scheduling and rotational shifts.
- Proficiently manage a large number of public contacts each day with little or no supervision.
- Communicate effectively with senior management, contractors, clients, and other employees.
- Ability to accurately utilize complex software applications.
- Understand, evaluate and communicate software issues with vendors, managers and others as needed.
- Sort and deliver incoming mail promptly and efficiently.
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
- Other duties that are pertinent to the department or unit's success also may be assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least five (5) years of directly related office experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to operate in a climate of confidentiality requiring professionalism and discretion.
- Ability to effectively operate general office equipment, PC's and type at least 45 words per minute.
- Must have intermediate experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Reliable and dependable attendance in a remote setting.
- Must pass all pre-employment contract requirements which may include but are not limited to: criminal background check and UA drug test.
- Must be able to live in dormitory style settings and meet cleanliness requirements of the remote camp.
- Must meet and adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations set forth by the company and client.
- Contract requires employees to read, write, speak and understand English.
Job Description
The Remote Billeting Clerk provides a variety of administrative duties needed to provide remote lodging services to individuals from various companies, organizations, and/or departments. The successful candidate must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively, must possess a strong ability to adjust to changing priorities while ensuring superior customer service at all times.

Weather: Indoors/Outdoors - Frequently exposed to arctic conditions.
Noise level: The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
Description of environment: Remote camp setting.
Physical requirements: Must constantly be able to sit, stand, walk, climb, push, pull use hands and arms, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
