  Remote CAD Technician

  Portland, OR & Vancouver, WA

  $91600-132,800

  Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

  The successful candidate will be responsible for providing CAD drafting support, including creating as-built drawings, evacuation maps, and other project related visuals. This position requires a strong proficiency in CAD software, specifically Bently Microstation.

  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide CAD drafting support for projects, including creating and maintaining as-built drawings, evacuation maps, campus maps, security maps, and other project-related visuals.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain CAD standards within Bentley MicroStation.
  • Create and maintain client material and construction standards within the CAD system.
  • Manage and organize CAD drawings and related files within the client database.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of CAD drawings.

  Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience considered.
  • Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation is required.
  • Experience with RS Means, Onscreen Center, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, and PlanSwift is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical skills.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work occasional overtime and travel as needed.
  • Must be a United States citizen

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in Construction Management, General Contracting, or Real Estate firms.
  • Provide CAD drafting support for projects, including creating and maintaining as-built drawings, evacuation maps, campus maps, security maps, and other project-related visuals.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain CAD standards within Bentley MicroStation.
  • Create and maintain client material and construction standards within the CAD system.
  • Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation and ProjectWise.
