What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle a high volume of incoming and outbound customer contacts, including calls, emails, and chats from patients
- Manage inquiries within established performance and customer service standards, ensuring excellent service
- Consistently exceed individual service level standards for contacts managed and response times
- Responsible for accurate data entry, coding, and documentation of all interactions
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with patients, providers, and BJC staff
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- No prior experience required
- Must be available for full-time hours, including availability until 6 PM
- Ability to maintain patient privacy and security as outlined by HIPAA
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a customer service role, especially in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with patient navigation and healthcare systems
- Knowledge of MyChart or similar patient portal systems
- Proficiency in handling a high volume of customer interactions
- Previous experience in a call center environment
