What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Guide patients through the enrollment process for healthcare programs, ensuring accurate and complete documentation
- Evaluate patient eligibility for specific healthcare programs based on established criteria
- Conduct comprehensive consultations with patients to gather necessary information and explain program benefits
- Accurately document patient information and enrollment details in electronic health records (EHR)
- Monitor the progress of enrollment applications and collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate the process

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must possess an active certification as a Medical Assistant from a nationally accredited institution (NHA, AAMA, NCCT, NAHP, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and diagnoses
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English
- Demonstrated empathy and compassion in patient interactions
- Effective organizational skills for managing multiple patient enrollments
