      Job Title: Site Civil Engineer

      Job Description

      We are seeking a dedicated Civil Design Engineer to support a diverse range of land development and stormwater projects. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to learn, contribute meaningfully, and make a lasting impact in a collaborative, people-first environment. The position involves utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D for stormwater design, grading, profiles, plan production, corridors, and more. Projects include site development and out-parcels for private and public clients such as retail, correctional facilities, ADA trails & sidewalks, warehouses, education, and more.

      Responsibilities

      • Develop detailed civil site design plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD for stormwater, sanitary sewer, grading, drainage, utility, profiles, corridors, etc.
      • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and operations, to streamline processes, optimize project workflows, and nurture client relationships.
      • Review project plans and provide technical guidance to other staff members.
      • Prepare construction documents, exhibits, and technical drawings in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
      • Assist in the preparation of site layout plans, roadway alignments, profiles, and cross-sections.
      • Perform quantity take-offs and assist in cost estimation.
      • Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, clients, and permitting agencies.
      • Maintain organized project files and drawing standards.

      Essential Skills

      • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD
      • 5+ years of site civil engineering and design experience
      • Expertise in stormwater design, including grading, drainage systems, floodplain analysis, retention/detention basins, pipe network design, hydrologic analysis, and hydraulic modeling
      • Ability to work independently with limited training

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • EIT/PE license or the ability to obtain one in the near future
      • Project management experience for civil site projects

      Work Environment

      This position is 100% remote until a brick-and-mortar office is established, likely by 2026. Candidates must be based in Ohio, as the role requires local presence.       This is a Permanent position based out of Delaware, OH.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
