What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review orders, charges, and related diagnoses from radiation oncology records
- Ensure services billed are consistent with record documentation and current billing/coding regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation as needed
- Maintain knowledge of coding regulations and updates to ensure compliance
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior coding staff

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years' coding experience
- Credentials from AAPC or AHIMA; or Radiation Oncology Certified Coder credential
- Required certification from AHIMA or AAPC
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of oncology coding/billing experience
- Additional certifications such as CCS, CPC, or ROCC
