What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Book domestic and international reservations for air travel, hotels, and car rentals, including group bookings
- Provide accurate price quotations for international itineraries and manage client communication effectively
- Promote and apply client travel program policies and negotiated contracts to maximize savings
- Maintain client profiles and ensure special requests and loyalty program information are accurately recorded
- Monitor global distribution systems (GDS) queues to ensure quality control and customer satisfaction
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 4 years of active experience as a Travel Consultant within the last 6 years
- 1-2 years of international travel experience
- Proficiency in Sabre GDS and corporate travel experience required
- Strong professional customer service skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of domestic and international fare structures and ticketing procedures
- Demonstrated internet research skills for customer information
- Ability to work independently and exercise discretion and judgment
- Familiarity with airline terminology, codes, and resource guides
