- Handle inbound leads (phone, internet) and direct to appropriate contact
- Contact present customers (phone, email) to maintain and improve customer loyalty
- Develop pipeline of sales and business opportunity (partnerships, etc.) leads through networking and referrals
- Work with sales department to develop sales strategies and techniques
- Research and stay current in consumer and industry trends
- Communicate industry news and trends to management and dealership employees
- Outstanding Customer Service - Always put the customer first
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Currently reside within a 30-mile radius from the Rothway Address (6161 Rothway, Houston, TX 77040)
- Must have at least 6 months recent work experience
- High speed internet connection of > 10 mbps Upload and > 10 mbps download for remote work
- Quiet home office suitable for remote call center, customer service work
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Superior customer service skills, have a pleasant personality, and be a team player
- Intermediate level of multi-tasking and computer skills
- Excellent follow-through skills
- Solid working knowledge of the Internet
- Maintaining a positive, can-do attitude
- Perfect attendance and punctuality record
- Strong work ethic with a high sense of urgency to get the job done
- Auto dealership Internet or Business Development Center (BDC) experience is preferred
- Familiarity with automotive financing
- Customer service and/or sales experience
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software experience is a Plus
- Ability to adapt to sudden business and industry changes as it directly effects automotive service operation
- Bilingual in Spanish and other languages are a Plus

Group 1 Automotive is leader in automotive retail and we are seeking to add Business Development Center specialist to join our team.
Candidates must currently live in the Houston area! and Must be willing to attend 2 weeks in-person training at 6161 Rothway Houston TX 77040.
Salary: $15 HR +Uncapped Bonus Plan
Shift: 8:00am - 5pm or 9:30am -6:30pm + Rotating Saturdays (40 hour work week)
