  Job Title: Fully-Remote Distribution Designer

  Job Description

  Our client is seeking experienced Joint Use/Distribution Designers to join their team. This individual will be working with DDS Joint Use and will need a background in distribution design.

  Responsibilities

  • Design and develop distribution systems utilizing DDS (Distribution Design Studio).
  • Collaborate with utility companies to facilitate Joint Use projects.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient design plans for power delivery.
  • Support utility clients such as CenterPoint, AEP, or First Energy in project execution.

  Essential Skills

  • Experience in Joint Use.
  • At least 6 months of experience in DDS supporting utilities.
  • Proficiency in distribution design and utility design.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of OSP (Outside Plant) design principles.
  • Engineering or design within the power delivery sector.

  Job Type & Location

  This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX.

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
